It’s Easter again – and here’s how we celebrated it 2 years ago on board Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth –

Easter is here again and this time last year my husband, daughter and I were relaxing aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, cruising for 6 weeks on 2 sectors of the World Cruise.

As is usual on Cunard, no expense was spared in the lavish decorations that were made with real chocolate Easter eggs.

Everything looked and smelt too good to be true…

We were lucky enough to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the galleys where we caused a traffic jam in the Pastry Section…

Because we came across just a few Easter eggs that had our jaws open in awe…

But that didn’t stop us believing we would still be treated with an Easter feast by these wonderful staff of chefs…

Until, on Easter Sunday morning, we found these in our stateroom…
